Loved this place and their food when we first visited it years ago and threafter few years later. Gave all 5 stars during 3 separate visits years back.Today, after our last visit 3 yeras ago. Prices went up at the same time that portion sizes decreased, but the worse part is that the food quality and taste also decreased.This place used to be awesome! Service was good, not great. Staff is still friendly.Got a lot more and tastier at the New Reef in Piñones

Too cheap to replace a fountain drink?Really?? As we tried to fix the rocking table we accidentally spilled the soda. The manager wouldn’t replace it for nothing. I was flabbergasted. Really? It wasnt an alcoholic drink. We spent close to 20 dollars on appetizers plus additional for entrees. Yet for 10 cents he refused to be a good manager and just replace it. Instead he took the route of being mean-spirited jerk.We have been going to this place for many many years. And this experience, plus the last one (the place was swarming with flies) have put the nail on the coffin. There are plenty of better restaurants there. Go to Kai instead. The food is better and they are not petty like this place.

I come from Florida USA . And I feel highly privileged and fortunate of been a part of costumer in this particular restaurant. I have feel the taste of my island food and drinks I also enjoy in company with family members as well with my mother as Mother’s Day week . And beyond the fact that I had a great experience with this restaurant and costumer service. Thank you . SONIDO DEL MAR RESTAURANT AND BAR . For the best and wonderful service and humanity of a good kind Puerto Rican personalities.

Drive by here often & finally made it in for dinner our last night. Everything is very reasonable priced and was so good! 3 fish tacos for $12 or $15 ( grouper or mahi ). Grouper entree was amazing, coconut shrimp app so good. Walked right in for a table or 6 at 8:30 pm and sat on the back porch by the waves. Great place!

I am sorry to say i was quiet disappointed in the food. We got shrimp which we thought would be lightly sautéed in oil/butter instead they were soaking in a bowl of oil. The whole meal was oily. The potatoes oily, the rice tastless. The drinks were so weak.Noise levelQuiet, easy to talk

I love the lace and the staff is super nice and it’s easy to choose the meal if you don’t speak the language they are right in front of you! The baked chicken was my favorite. I’m only giving them 4 stars because the food was not very hot. The water melon juice they have is to die for in the heat

This place was right on the water. The waves were crashing and the music was playing. The beer was good and cold. The food was hot and tasty. Now let's talk about the service. 10 out of 10 stellar customer service!We found this by accident while on a road trip around the island. My GPS app overheated on my phone so we just drove until we got to water. What a great place to get lost. We really enjoyed this stop. Great job folks. We felt welcome and really enjoyed our stop and personal visit with yall. I would happily go back here on any future visits to this area...

This restaurant in Jobos Beach, Isabela has incredible views of the beach and surfers.The food is great. I had mofongo with caldo and chicken pieces. Very tasty. My sister had the chicken wings with mofongo. Wings were very tasty. My nephew had the churasco steak and he loved it. A friend had shrimp stew. And a big appetizer sample with chicken pieces, corn fritters, tostones, fried cheese and more, which was delicious.Summary: great food. Views. Drinks. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed dinner here on 02/06/26. Our server was great with many excellent recommendations. The food came out quickly, was hot and prepared very well. The sweet potato’s were excellent as was the grouper and red snapper. The cocktails were also very worthy of mention.The prices were fantastic given the quality of food and the location right on the beach. The whole experience provided a nice Puerto rican vibe.
